Give it a week and light them up! These 85 degree days will dry them up quick.
Amen. They will burn better 7 days after you dig them up than they will 6 months or a year from now.
I noticed that earlier this year, had 2 piles , one fresh , one about 3-4 years old , old one is still 40% there. Even hauled some HOT coals from the fresh pile , still wouldn't get going.
