Subject: Re: North Texas Truck Stop

Boone, Iowa
I bought my 05 Dodge diesel dually there 1 1/2 years ago. I flew down from Iowa and they had a car at the airport to pick me up. I had 2 complaints out of the whole experience. One was the fact they knew I was coming to look at a particular truck. It was dirty, an empty pop can in the box and one mud flap missing. The other problem I had was the tires were supposed to be 80%. Four were 80% and the other two were 30-40%. He called his tire guy, but they did not have matching tires in stock and would not come down the $300, which was the price of the tires. They know they have out-of -staters over a barrel. Either I buy the truck or spend an outragious price for a one-way-ticket home. I inspected it and took it for a drive and seemed to be well worth the money. The motor and tranny are doing great. I have had the normal 100,000 mile Dodge issues, like u-joints, ball joints and #4 injector line. I think they represented the truck for what it was and if they have a truck I like when I get ready to update, I would buy from them again.
