| Here in SD my 1992 atv had a title. If the atv did or should have a title seems like your county treasurer would know what is needed and probably has application forms for duplicate titles to send in the to the state DMV.
VIN number of the machine is very important. Should be a sticker or have in engraved on the frame somewhere. Seems any Honda I've seen it's in front on the steering columnn somewhere, including my 2012 Rancher. My Polaris have VIN on a sticker on the plastic near the oil tank filler which was not very good. The VIN is also engraved on the Polaris frame.
