| If you go with a 00 series the 12000 serial number (1997 model year) began the use of the big engine in all 4 models and serial number 20000 (1998 model year and 1999) had an upgraded transmission case and shifted better than the previous models. The 10's were the best of the lot, but you will pay accordingly. Hood cracking is the only real drawback to the 20 series, although some of the earlier ones had some bad SCV stacks. Most of those got replaced around here. | |
