| I have a 1984 5488 with mfwd. I am having trouble finding a part. The part in question is the 4 bolt flange that bolts on to the pinion shaft in the front axle and then connects to the drive shaft coming from the rear end. CaseIH says the part is on back order/can't get it. My question is does anyone know what the whole axles' part or serial number is? I can't find it on my axle, because I have talked to guy at a Dana/Spicer parts dealer who says there should be such a number stamped into the axle. If I can find this number he thinks he could help me.
