| From the ringside seats I've seen folks I consider fine people stoop pretty low in tactics used during divorce proceedings. Remember that lawyers get paid by the hour. If your lawyer and her lawyer can keep you both bickering over stupid stuff that doesn't matter like pet custody and nonsense like that, they certainly will and then laugh at both of you all the way to the bank.
Another thing that came up on this site a while back, don't be discussing any what should be confidential details of the divorce proceedings on the internet. If her lawyer gets hold of it, your posts can and will be used against you.
Some of the guys here who have been there and done that can probably give you some excellent and helpful advice. For your own good you really should contact each other via private email, not on this board. | |
