If you are building a road where you have deep fill that probably is true.....where I level an area for a building to be built driving back and forth leveling an then packing moist soil the ground is packed solid enough that stakes are very difficult to drive into the ground. Lot of concrete has been built over my site preparations and never had a problem that I am aware of.....


You are right. My point was more for the guys that are convinced that a dozer packs dirt better than a loaded tire scraper, won't happen.
