I bought a product called surface clarifier made by car bright I think. I dilute it with water and put it in a pump up sprayer. Then need to put soap on it afterwards to nutralize it. I was spraying something real sticky with a nitro and got it all over the window and couldn't see and it wouldn't wash off but this stuff really worked. Good luck
