Front axle and/or steering has some play.

How much movement should the steering box have if I try to rotate the shaft from the steering wheel to the box in the engine compartment?  Steering arm from the box?

Should the knuckle be tight or have a little play?

2003 Chevy 2500HD 4wd, Gas engine.
