Faunsdale, AL | How about a home made version. We used a lot of stuff we had around the farm plus a few special stainless steel fittings and a large propane tankless water heater we had to purchase. It's in the corner of the old dairy barn, so no problem with inspectors. We've pasteurized from as little as 30 gallons to as much as 80 twice a day. We do not try to store milk, instead we use it within a day or throw it away if it sours. It takes some juggling to keep the supply constant as cows move in and out of the fresh/treated/high SCC group that supplies the milk.
