Subject: Prolapsed cow need help please.
north west arkansas I got a cow that calved today and prolapsed really bad. One vet is out of town and cant get ahold of the other one. It is out probably 2' and I have put sugar on it to shrink it. How long do I leave the sugar on and do I wash the sugar off before I put it back in? I have never used sugar before. I plan on putting uterine boluses in her once im done and ofcourse antibotics. Any other tricks to do. I have done alot but this one is bad.
