On heifers I like to use a proven calving ease bull. One that has been available to everyone for a few years and has high accuracy.
Yep, my sentiments exactly, do they exist in the Hereford breed? In the ABS catalog they have a horned hereford, "Domino 3027", with 9.9 CE(.59acc) -1.4(.91 acc), and a polled bull, "Progress" 10 CE(.60acc) -2.5(.90acc)
