western iowa,by Denison | Im sorry Mark-its the 2013 board for my cattle sales next year as my 400 and500# heifers do not gain that fast-I market my cattle I buy during this time of year 1 year out,thers a lot of cattle feeders in Iowa that sell cattle off the board for delivery at the end of the feeding cycle-6-12 months out-something our bankers like us to do ,I was just simply showing my sales and that my market has gone down.
The cash market this week was down also,I didn't call the trend lower,I showed that in 5 weeks it was a grind higher of 10 cents!
Foolish for me to buy cattle at a $141 breakeven and hope she goes higher on the cash market when the board is at $132 today for 2013 Feb delivery,Then I just as well buy the board and say "I ain't scarred!" | |
