As a young guy myself i agree that not very many people my age want to do the work to get started..i took care of my first herd at 14 and bought my own at 16... i had to have help but i was the only one out of my age group that got started in farming even though other kids in my class could have started easier than me because of their familys..im 21 now and have my cows paid off and want to expand but have the same problems..theres no pasture for rent or sale..amish have bought up whats for sale and older guys rent everything else..
