Subject: Dairy Farmers, new somatic cell count regulation

Martinsville, Ohio

I was just talking to my truck driver who is heading to Bristol Indiana to bid on replacement dairy animals.  I asked about the price of corn and milk and he said the bigger concern is the new regulation to reject milk over 400,000 somatic cell count.  I hadn't heard of that and wondered if any you had opinions or links to this story.  Is this more over regulation of agriculture?

Thanks,

Ed Winkle
