I understand wanting to take your dog with you. If I were able to take my dog to work, he and I would equally enjoy it. So you can stay in the good graces of your tenants and allow your pup the freedom to roam, I suggest you fence in your tenant's part of the farm. This would keep your dog out and define the tenant's space should your current ones ever move out.
