Yes, you will need to setup your fields.  This is easy.  Once you get done with a field and move to another you will be asked if you wish to save the AB line.  If you do, it will be available in the future and associated with that field.

The A+ pattern is very handy for a tillage situation.  In this pattern, you drive to where you want to strike out and pick a heading.  You will get Auto steering on the first pass.
