| The speed number should be the same. The Land Manager can store 9 (maybe 10) different applications, so that will have to be new. On a spinner spreader, I put different gate applications in the library. It is worth the trouble to set them up, no charts are ever needed. The pulses/cubic foot numbers that we use are 106 for an 8 inch gate, 212 for a four inch gate, etc. This is for a 3020 with 180 pulses/rev of the drive sprocket. If you have the std D-J encoder(360 pulses/rev) then those numbers will have to be doubled. If you have a 2020 then the numbers will have to be increased by about 133% more. Chain, belt over chain and straight belt conveyors do not change this very much.
Diskey-john Tech support should have a better answer on this. | |
