| Work hard. Start with used. Well used. Work hard, fix it yourself. Drive old crappy pickups. Put profits into land and grow. Work hard, experience breaking things your didn't think could break. Fix it yourself. If you can't, watch, learn, and buy the tools to fix it yourself next time. Put those profits into land. Work hard. When you've got more land than time to cover it, buy more used gear. Fix it yourself. Work hard. Buy more land. After that, it'll make more sense to buy new tractors. Still doesn't make sense to buy new trucks here. Tons of decent cheap used ones and lots of people who know how to fix them when they break. A down tractor is a major problem "here". Lots of cheap trucks to throw at that kind of problem. Still not quite sure what a "profit" or "liquidity" is but the wheels keep turning somehow. |
