Morris, IL | Yes i agree, 500 hours a year could probably be put that on in one fall if your full tillage and it's running everyday the combine is but for strip till, no-till, and some conventional tillage thats really pushing it in my opinion. I know some people that probably put 600-700+ hours in one fall, probably 200-300 more in the spring. They farm here and in central IL. I would like to add, this isn't a new tractor, we got it when it was 5 years old and it's now 8 years old but for us it's new. Our combine is like you say, 30 years old and we hardly ever have in field down time, 300 hours a year. But i think soon we will have to trade, dealers aren't carrying parts as much anymore.
