OK, I got some corn in commercial storage, something I have never done because the bins are full and the contracts are filled. Nice problem to have but I want to learn. Problem is it is at the low price bidder in the area because he was close and we were hunting for trucks to finish one farm to move on. 25 cents till Jan 1. Probably should have taken the price that day but thought I want to learn even if it costs me. I can't quote you the price that day but thinking around 3.10.

So I need to get 3.35 or better to pay storage to better my price.

I can make a nickle now maybe. I can make more Jan 1, have to find out the charge for doing that but think he would except the Jan price as Dec 31. He said you will have plenty of opportunities before Jan 1 but one in the hand is worth two in the bush to me. This is money that will pay some of next years inputs which I want to lock in.

This probably a separate post but you got me thinking. What would fundamentals or technicals have me do or does it have little bearing in my situation?

Complicated question I know and no simple answer.

Ed
