South Texas | Man, we're hoping so also! We'll start planting cotton this week - some neighbors already started who've finished their corn and milo. For some crazy reason, we're all putting out fertilizer, myself included, on marginal moisture. Had about 3 inches total since November - enough where you can get a stand, but its dry about 10 inches down. Noticed wheat starting to suffer today - sure could use a drink.
So here's to hoping for all of you this state - nobody in Texas wants to see last year again.... | |
