I run them in the hills and on some flat heavy ground. You can run lift pressure or down pressure on the row cleaners. I usually run about 30 psi of lift. If I get into some real heavy trash I will run some down pressure but I rarely run with down pressure. You can dial in the lift to make them barely touch if you want or you can dial up the pressure and raise the row cleaners up.
