NEWTON, IL (SE IL.)
Howard – Just curious how flat you are? Also when you are inaccurate is it throughout the whole pass or just in spots? We have been experimenting with different sensitivity settings, & different hydraulic flow rates, & always looking for different scenarios.

Like Tuck said, we’ve found a slower turning rate, or hydr flow seems to give better results as long as the speed isn’t excessive. Also seems to make a big difference on articulated tractors. Usually more impressed with the antenna mounted on the nose. Articulated tractors seem to like above the front axle, but usually get interference from the cab if hood mounted.

One thing for sure, same setup doesn’t always work for different people. Just when we think we’ve got something figured out we’ll find out we don’t.

Still like the simplicity of the Outback system though. Price is decent, & portability is not an issue. Get all the hydraulic kits you want for $1000 each.

Thanks for listening - PhilJ
