chirpfarm - 3/4/2012 21:45 How do you like the 3-pt mounted CCS planters? They look pretty slick. Are your row straighter with the mounted vrs the pull type? Do they stay on the beds well? How hard is it too hook them up? One of the best things about switching from a semi-mount to a pull type planter for us was how much easier it was to hook up. Nice looking operation.

I like them so far but we don't have a lot of acres on them yet. There was a little wiggling with them when we started but, I think we have it corrected now. They stay on the beds fine but are a little harder to hook up since we have to take the quick hitch off. You could probably leave the quick hitch on if you didn't have any ditches to cross but, the planter will hit the top of the quick hitch when you go thru a ditch.
