I think the pvc is a problem with age, may not be a problem for ten years, but could be a bad problem. I had a shop with pvc air lines I put in before I knew better. I was not going to re-do the whole system, but had plans to leave the pvc up high and put in threaded fittings with black steel pipe drops. Never did it because the property was taken by the local airport. The shop I have now has copper.
