Great row unit but terriable seed spacing. The meter system works great, and it will plant accuratly to the last seed, but the seeds get jumbled up going back the hoses to the row. I have been told that these planters could be made to plant picket fence corn. If they where modified by an expert, but I have never seen it. It was ihs attempt at a central fill, which they eventually gave up

You don't have to be an expert to make them plant well, It is not terriable(your spelling) at seed spacing. Granted , not like a newer red, green, blue or white. And the last time I looked Case IH still offers central fill.
