![](/profile/get-photo.asp?memberid=6720&type=profile&rnd=90) SE IL | trakman - 3/4/2012 10:24 ...........yesterday and I'm sure it won't be the last. Question I have is I was in a 65 acre triangle shape field yesterday bordered on all 3 sides by tall trees. No powerlines , just next to a river down off the bluff. NEVER could obtain a full signal at any time working there and at times would lose the enough satellites that it wouldn't steer. Is this going to be a problem field using Auto-Trac with SF1?..................or was there a "Satellite fluke" yesterday?
This is a satellite availability predictor. Put in your zip code and a date and it will give you the predicted (or past) availability of the constellation. You can put in the date that you experienced signal loss and look at the time and see if it was a period of poor signal quality. I'm not sure what time zone it uses.
