Upstate Ny | most people that are not used to these tractor have a heck of a time shifting them!! make sure you get a service manual and adjst the clutch/tranny brake/ and dump valve. i just taught two of my new helpers here how to dive my 1086 so they could take the manure out everyday. both are 17 and have no problems. i have found the secret is to shift the tractor at relativly low rpms. i told the boys 1000-1500 engine rpms for shifting, and they both agree it helped alot. | |
