| The angle will make a huge difference. So, if the angle changes, so will your calibration value, and you have accomplished nothing by driving down the road. Mounting it on the tractor will maintain a more consistent ground angle. The reflectivity of the field/road surface can make a slight difference, too.
If you had a 250 before, the calibration number "should" be the same.
We had a JD planter with the same monitor in the past. I had the radar on the tractor and the cal number was 5000 something. | |
