It has been a long time and I suffer from that crs desease but I think we unhooked one planter and pulled it separately. the other planter remained hooked but the hitch would revolve around on rollers to get the remaining planter nearly straight back from tractor. The hitch worked very well in the field, it kept the planters up close to the tractor and every time you turned the hitch would roll around the semi circle. hard to explain. Run it on a 4020, but the 5020 would really handle it well with two 694 planters. most of the ground was all near by and big fields. I have pulled it down a wide highway with one planter over the shoulder of the road an a smooth ditch bank.

We switched to 30" rows in 1966. I think back of combining corn with a 95 and 3 row 335 head and then the 105 with 635 head. Makes a guy really appreciate the newer combines. That old style head was quite a piece of work. The 643 head was a hell of an improvement!
