We have a set of notills and a set of parobolics. Of course we use the notills on our few notill farms and the paraolics on conventional farms. The parabolics pull way easier than the notills. Wen have a 7 shank 2500 on a 305 magnum and can run 6.5 to 7.5 with th parabolics at 12 inches. The notills slow us down to 5-6 going the same depth. We could use the notills on conventional ground but the fields get awfull green here early in the spring without turning some dirt over. We actually use coverboards with ours to pitch a little more dirt. This setup leaves the ground pretty uneven but we make two passes in the spring so not a problem leveling. Could put a leveler behind it if wanted. Have never used MRD's so cannot comment on them.
