Frisch I agree with you. In my opinion we can buy a lot of plastic and make all balage for what a unloader cost.

We will be replacing a jamesway and the silo has corn silage in it now and I decided it is faster and easier to fork out the 1500lbs I use a day vs fighting with the unloader. Plan is to fill our 20 by 60 with corn silage. That unloader is a jstar with nothing wrong with it but it struggles with haylAge witch is why I this using a chain vs a auger is better. Both unloaders are ring drives with 3 cables. I have been around a few patz surface drives I wasn't to thrilled with them.
