I have done this with 6" well casing. Works great, like the other guy said you just have to play with the chain length. I had my chains easy to adjust for different soil conditions. for transport I had a couple channel irons or square tube on top of the disk/field cultivator and chains strait down to the pipe to lift it with the tool.
