Subject: Automatic Boom Height control

How well do the automatic boom height controls work? Are they capable of working in rolling terrain to keep the various boom sections the correct height? I've thought about a self-propelled sprayer, but can't spend that kind of money, and for manual boom control you can't beat a front-mounted boom but that limits my choices. So I'd rather use a pull-type and that works just fine for all my spraying needs EXCEPT for corn's 2nd pass. I like to spray when the corn is about 2-3' tall with drops to keep the spray off the corn(out of the whorl), but trying to do that task in rolling ground is a bit of a challenge. So I thought that instead of spending $100G on a self-propelled front boom I might be able to make my old(cheap) sprayer work by utilizing this tech.
