East central Iowa | I love them, They are not a big breed, The lambs are small, say 7 to 8 would catch most purebreds at birth. But if they are born alive they have about 99.9% survive and go to market as fat lambs. I never help them to start nursing, They have a strong will to live. Cluns milk is 2% higher protein than most other breeds. They can get to 60 lbs. in 60 days on grass or good hay. Adults have alot of pearsonality. Mother instinct is very strong, so that eliminates lots of problems.
