the kill switch is a fail-safe to disengage the system if it won't let you manually override by turning the steering wheel. With EZ-Steer, you could just yank the steering motor away from the steering wheel, but you can't do that with EZ-Pilot, so you have to be able to force a disengage some other way.
Are the EZ Pilots easy to install?
