NW Minnesota
What kind of Lexion? Year? We were/are in the same boat and here's what we did: We put a universal JD system with our 2630 for steering two years ago and then now are putting an Ag-Leader Integra for yield monitor/mapping. Ag-Leader can tie into the Starfire's signal for GPS, however if I were to do it all over again I'd go 100% Ag-Leader. Use it for steering and also your yield mapping. One less monitor plus just that much easier for operators not having to operate and run two displays. You could use Ag-Leaders On-Track 2+ for steering (kind of like JD's universal) only not as big and actually easier to install than JD. But if you have a newer Lexion, the Ag-Leader would just tie into the steering.

As far as the questions about the JD planter, what do you have? CCS or just box units??
