this is a limitation of todays iso systems can you imagine if pc's were this way every program could require its own hardware that some one could mark up! funny thing is that all the ag displays us operatings systems from  the pc market place windows CE some maybe Linux someday hopefully it will be more like a pc not even all JD 2.5V CAN systems are compatible with each other its a buyer beware situation
