Subject: Bad, then worse

SW OH
The truck itself is cheap and chincy. We have 20 or so Sterling straight trucks at work and they all have major problems with the dash breaking apart. Last fall my circut breaker/fuse panel broke out and hit the floor. $2400 to replace. They all have issues with the plastic parts in the cab. They don't make them anymore so now we buy Freightliners which are worse. Our fuel truck that only has 30,000 miles on it has had a new dash and 2 new door panels already. My truck is on of 2 2004 Acterras both of which have C-7s that have both thrown a rod around 200,000 miles. Ours have allison autos, but 6 speeds are ok................Mitchco
