We currently have a MX335 with a 252, AL Insight, and RTK (it is ran off of InTime on a cell phone which is why I want to possibly find a modem to replace the phone). Then we have a MX270 with the 252, AL Insight, and OmniStar.

We do a lot of custom strip tilling as well as our own. Basicly we want to stick with RTK... the RTX really seems like a downgrade for the accuracy we need. We are trying to decide if we can sell the MX270 with the OmniStar and use the MX335 for everything... that would free up some money to upgrade the MX335. Or keep both tractors and stick with the guidance we have for the next couple years. Not sure if it will work in our situation to use one tractor for everything since we sometimes strip till in the spring as well as needing to have the RTK to plant on the strips. We try to get everything done in the fall but that doesn't always happen.

I guess it really all comes down to whether we want Ag Leader or Trimble... just like Case or Deere. And also money is also a facter... purchased a brand new White planter and a new Ag System sidedesser already this year so we are sretched kinda thin for available funding at this time.
