David Loberg Northeast Nebraska | We had the same FRO in our 06 Kenworth...a few gears were wore to the point that it would pop out under load. Went to price fixing it, like mentioned above, its a weird metric breed. The parts were ridiculous for it, and you still ended up with a 10 speed. We swapped an RTLO into it, and haven't looked back. The RTLO has a low gear which is great getting going out of fields. By time we traded the FRO for the RTLO, we had about 4500 wrapped into it. That included the new shifter head, and shortening and rebalancing the driveshaft, the trannies are different lengths. |
