Subject: Is SF1...ITC receiver/Brown Box really that bad?

Central Kansas
Just came in from the field and have been using Auto-Trac in 1/4 mile pass's and for a "newbie" like me, I don't see hardly any variation in the steering,...............seems to be right on the money, 99.9% of the time. I know the real test will be at planting with some 1/2 mile rows and hope that it is acceptable at that lenght. I guess what I'm trying to say is I expected at least a 10 inch variation in steering and maybe it's coming but I sure don't see it so far. Was told by AMS people a plus is that I'm running a track tractor............wheel will vary more???? Whats your opinion? I can't begin to imagine what RTK is like...............:>)

Life is good so far!
