Subject: EZ-Pilot Dimensions?

Dietrich, Idaho and Mountain Home, Idaho
What are the physical dimensions of the ez-pilot system? I may put one on our JD 2840 and the problem is that it has the 2 speed hi-lo shifter on one side of the steering column(left side) and the hand throttle on the other side of the steering column(right side) so there will be a width limitation. Also, what does the ez-pilot use for a clutch to disengage the motor from the gear? The reason I am asking is that I had a Raven SmartSteer on the 2840 last spring and it worked great until the electric clutch got dust built up on the facings and it started to slip(the 2840 has a cab but it isn't tight at all so at times it will get VERY dusty). Just wondering if the ez-pilot has something similar to the smartsteer or if it is something better that wouldn't allow dust to build up on the facings. Thanks.
