Baldwin City, KS | Super pushy sales tactics once you show any interest. Last guy we talked to suggested my priorities were out of line for wanting to tend to 41 calving heifers over attending their 2 day gospel in KC. Major turn off. All the staff are very nice folks to visit with and seem to know their products well, but things like that stick hard with me.
Also, they do a ton of talking about their side by side plots all over the country and how they send a guy everywhere with a small planter. I told them if they could come to my farm and show me the product worked, I would be in. After I kept a little pressure on them about it, the story changed and it would not be possible to go everywhere and put in plots, but if I would just buy a couple of semiloads and set up my planter, they guaranteed I would still be happy.
I know little about their products in relation to my farm, but I trust the feed back I get here. Most of it doesn't support Conklin over other commercial options.
