No you do not need to install that switch when installing an EZ-Steer with an FM750 (CFX750). It is an optional switch if you wish to power the EZ-Steer controller seperately from the Display. If your dealer got you the correct EZ-Steer kit, you should find a harness P/N 67259 (plugs in between the cable coming from the battery leads and power cable going to the display, harness is about 24" in length and has a bunch of connectors on it). You will find two single pin weatherpack connectors (both have a pink wire going into them) plug those together to enable the power relay. You should also find a harness P/N 75742 (goes from the 9 pin connector on the EZ-Steer controller to the display) there will be a 2 pin gray DTM connector on that harness that you will plug into any of the 2 pin DTM connectors on the 67259 harness from above.
If the wiring harness is connected this way, when you power up the display, the relay in the 67259 harness will also power up your EZ-Steer controller and away you go. The additional switch you are looking at is not needed.
