the more power the better, the big flywheel on a hd will kill underpowered tractors while starting them and be really hard on ptos, I think a fendt or a jcb are better options then deere by far. A better ride and a perfect transmission for baling with faster road speeds. In good straw horsepower will make the baler shine. Did you buy a krone or hesston hd? A friend has a hesston hd and that thing spits out bales like you wouldnt believe so far he is averaging 97 bales an hour since it was new. But it will probably give up a 100 to 200 lbs a bale to the krone hd in straw.
