Subject: Moved - Spraying with Mid Tech ARC 600 to Raven 460

Northern CA
HI. I had posted this in the Machinery Talk section and realized it should be placed here.

I have been spraying for years with a Mid Tech ARC 6000 on my Patriot sprayer. My new (to me) Case IH 3185 has a Raven SCS 460 in it. I have been playing around with it and will be trying to spray tomorrow for the first time. So far, I hate the Raven. It seems more complicated than the Mid Tech. I think I understand Raven products; I have an Envizio, Envizio Pro, and Viper Pro.

Also, when I ran the Mid Tech, while spraying, say I came up to a pivot track and wanted to slow down under the minimum speed the nozzles would stay pressured at, and keep my booms charged, I would turn my dial to "test speed" which would be on say 13mph. I would cross the track, and then when I got back up to field speed, turn the dial back to automatic mode. How do I program the Raven 460 and how do I do the same thing I did with the Mid Tech?

Also, I really liked the scan feature on the Mid Tech; does the Raven have anything like that? Also, I used to set my alarm to beep at 64 acres, a typical tank load was close to 70, so that I knew I was almost empty. Will the Raven do that?

Thanks for your upcoming input.
