On our 1240 we would get one yr (approx 2,500 ac) on the lead disc & then have to replace them. Usually it was the bearing that went bad. Had to replace the other side after two yrs. On that side some of the bearings were getting rough and the blades were getting wore. Might have gotten another 1,000 ac on them but didn't wan to have bearing problems and we didn't think the blades would last the season.
