Subject: Parker crimp on ends Type 43 or HY

Chillicothe, MO
I have just purchased a Parker ParkCrimp 1 crimper with some type 43 fittings. The hose inventory that came with the machine is suitable for either type 43 or HY fittings. I need to increase my fitting inventory substantially and wondered what others think about which type is best. The type 43 fittings have a shorter sleeve and bite the wire. The type HY fittings have a longer sleeve and rely more on compression. Wondered which fitting everyone has the best luck with. I am looking at replacement fittings from A & I Products. They have two types of fittings that appear to cross to Parker type 43 and type HY. Have been told they are manufactured by Kurt Mfg. I am also looking for opinions on these crimp-on ends from A & I. Thanks for your help!
